Who Runs It
IRIS Laboratory, ASIC Division, Electrical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering, Telkom University, Practicum Room P313 and Assistant Room P303, Building P (Deli). The Assistant Coordinator answers for the practicum data.
What We Keep
Only what the practicum needs:
- Who you are: NIM, name, class and group, taken from SeeLabs and the lab schedule.
- Attendance: when you signed in to a session, the session code used, and the IP address of each sign in attempt. The attempts stop code guessing and are the proof that you attended.
- Your work: blank answers and how many tries they took, hint requests, data captured from your board, and your preparation checklist.
- Scores and the assistant's notes on your group.
- Your prelab assignment (TP): which file you submitted in the LMS and when, and its scores per question. IRIS keeps a pointer to the file, not the file itself, and opens it from the LMS when you or an assistant view it.
- Feedback: stored with your NIM so each session gets one feedback per person. Assistants see it without your name or NIM.
- For assistants: name, NIM, assistant code, teaching slots, SeeLabs user name (never the SeeLabs password) and pay records.
Why
To run sessions, score your work, count attendance, pay assistants and improve the modules. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.
Who Sees It
You see your own records. The assistants on duty see the groups they teach, and lab admins see everything they need to run the semester. Assistants enter your final scores into Telkom University's SeeLabs.
Cookies and Browser Storage
The site sets two cookies, both needed for it to work: your sign in session and your language. Your display choices (theme, detail, clock) stay in your browser's local storage. There are no advertising cookies, no trackers and no third party analytics, so there is no cookie banner.
Services We Use
Vercel hosts the site and stored files, Neon hosts the database, and Cloudflare carries the live console between the lab's PC Server and the site. Pages that show a presentation or a circuit simulation embed Canva, Wokwi or Tinkercad, which may set their own cookies when you open them.
How Long
Records are kept for one semester, 6 months. Odd semesters run August to January and even ones February to July. On the first day of each new semester, everything from the previous one is deleted automatically: sessions, attendance, sign in records, answers, captures, scores, feedback, pay records, written reports, the schedule and the logs. A lab admin may delete a finished semester earlier.
The encrypted nightly backups keep a copy for at most 30 more days, then they expire on their own. Scores already entered into SeeLabs follow Telkom University's own rules.
Your Rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (except what must stay to keep a score valid), and withdraw consent for anything optional.
Tell the Assistant Coordinator at the Assistant Room, P303, Building P (Deli), or any assistant during your session, or write to Instagram @iris__laboratory. We answer within 3 × 24 hours of your request, as the Personal Data Protection Law requires.
Changes
When this notice changes, the date at the top changes too, and a real change is announced in the practicum.
